“A neuron’s gotta do what a neuron’s gotta do” – el Loco Gringo
This is the beginning. This is where the understanding of the mind can be found. This is a functional model of the neuron. I prefer to leave the how of the neuron to the neurologists. I prefer to leave psychology to the idiots. I will include links for those who are interested in such things.
Kevin warwick, University of Reading, UK has cultured 300,000 rat brain cells into an amorphous mass of neurons and connected wires. The neurons immediately began connecting and communicating. (or went forth and multiplied if you want to get metaphysical) Why, you may ask? Because that’s what neurons do. The neuron has evolved to have the properties of connecting and communicating to form decision tree networks. the epiphany for me, going off like a flare over the field of battle, was the realization of what the robot is doing. Your first thought is that it is trying to avoid the walls. Nope. It is going forth and multiplying. It is seeking more neurons to connect and communicate with. Why? Becaurse that’s what neurons do. This experiment illustrates the most significant discovery in the history of man. Essentially the decision tree is giving the output “nope that’s not a neuron, change direction”. This decision tree is what I will later call an algorithm.

Basically the brain is a self programming amorphous mass of neurons. (at least a rat brain)
